Hero Clix, not to be confused with Action Clix, was released in 2011 in conjunction with the 10th anniversary of Halo: Combat Evolved. The Hero Clix set had different rules than what Action Clix did. Both products were manufactured by the same company.
Action and Hero Clix are not compatible as the game types, rules, power levels and more differ from one another. An advantage that Hero Clix has is that it is compatible with other franchises/products in the Hero Clix catalogue, making them playable outside of the Halo Universe.
There are a total of 45 figures in the 2011 lineup of Hero Clix figures.
