Hello! Welcome to The Halo Collectors! I'm your host, M3ATY DADDY. I am a huge Halo 2 Anniversary fanboy with hundreds of hours in on that title alone in the Master Chief Collection. Owning over 100,000 kills on that title, it's safe to say you can find me gaming on it regularly.
I started The Halo Collectors when I realized as I began to inventory my collection I couldn't find a resource that solved two problems:
1. Where can I find a list of everything in the category I want to collect?
2. Why isn't there a tool for me to add said items to a digital inventory, one I can share with my friends?
Well, the answer was simple. There was not a place that had the scope of what I envisioned. So I set out to bring that vision to life, and bring it to the Halo community at large. I even decided to take it another step: a Discord server to match. A place where like minded collectors can communicate, sell, trade, and buy collectibles from each other. Because what better way to keep the community thriving than to have a place where you can meet others?
There are some other resources out there, however a lot of them specialized in one thing. One product, or just on being a market place, or a blog, or any number of niche'd set ups. I wanted it all. I wanted it in once package. So here it is.
I'll also be running a blog here, where I'll do occasional write ups on different things in the database. They'll start out kind of small, but hopefully evolve in scope and potentially make the jump into doing video reviews. But for now, the focus is on getting this thing airborne. Getting it firing on all cylinders. I hope to see many of you join me in the journey of being a Reclaimer and gathering the Artifacts from throughout the universe.
